MicksGarage.com Sponsor 2013 Formula Sheane Championship

MicksGarage.com are delighted to announce the title sponsorship for the 2013 Formula Sheane championship. The championship will run over 11 rounds held over 7 weekends at 3 different venues: Mondello Park, Bishopscourt and Kirkistown.

MicksGarage.com will be fielding a team of 2 cars, run and maintained by our very own Eddie Jordan Robbie Parks.

Our Number 1 driver will be Robbie Allen, who placed 3^rd in last year’s championship. The driver line up for our 2^nd car will change throughout the season and as you can see from the calendar below largely comprises of different people called Mick.

We’re hoping this previously untested, experimental method of driver selection will ultimately bring us championship glory and that our model will be rolled out to NASCAR, Indy & eventually, Formula 1!

The Cars:

Formula Sheane cars are all mechanically identical and the engines and gearboxes are sealed at the factory. They produce in the region of 140bhp and weigh less then 600kg's 

Formula Sheane is the fastest one-make formula in the country, lapping Mondello in fifty-six seconds and Kirkistown in sixty-one. They have a top speed of around 150 MPH and will hit 60 MPH in under four seconds.
