If you can't afford to go racing, track days are the most accessible way of scratching that itch and we've written a couple of articles in the past about choosing a track day car on a budget. In the first article we gave ourselves a tiny fictitious budget of just €/£2500 and in the second article we upped the ante with a €/£10,000 budget
If you fancy a piece of the action and have a few more quid to spend, check out the latest video from the guys at EVO magazine as they pick their track day car of the year 2014
It's a fantastic piece of video featuring some even more fantastic motor cars. Our personal favorite is the Broadley T76, a millimeter perfect replica of the iconic 1960's Le Mans legend, the Lola T70. It's an utterly brutal and equally beautiful racing car that you can now buy for about half a million quid and If I had half a million quid, i'd spend every single last penny of it on one of these!
