Ok, so this is a bit embarrassing...... we totally forgot to pick a winner from last week's BTCC themed Free Friday competition! So....er...Sorry about that! July Competition Winners - Designer Sunglasses

We gave away some brilliant prizes in July, each week someone won ABS Front Brake Discs and Pads which was certainly well received. Our big monthly prize was for Designer Sunglasses and with some of the weather we had it was perfect timing!

Winner of Apple iPad - June Competition

In June we had a set of Mann filters to give away every week as part of Free Friday and the grand prize was an Apple iPad. There were plenty of eager entrants but however only one person could win the big one and this month that was a certain Michael Joyce from Dublin 9!

Last Friday we asked our fans if they could determine the 5 cars we posted from the small snippets given.

No-one got all 5 right however Katerina Skorova got 4 correct which was brilliant going considering how tough they were.

We asked our Facebook fans to predict the sporting results for the weekend from Leinster/Ulster, Bayern/Dortmund, Froch/Kessler, Donegal/Tyrone!

Free Friday: 3rd May - What excuses would you give the Guards?

Last Friday we had 10 of the brilliant "You're Looking Well Guard" Disc Holders to give away to our Facebook Fans.

They retail at €8 each which is brilliant value considering the quality of the excuses the disc provides, it could save you millions in road traffic fines!

Mark Miller  One night a police officer was staking out a particularly rowdy bar for possible DUI violations.  At closing time, he saw a fellow stumble out of the bar, trip on the curb and try his keys on five different cars before he found his. 
The man sat in the front seat fumbling around with his keys for several minutes.Meanwhile, all the other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started his engine and began to pull away. The police officer was waiting for him. As soon as he pulled onto the street, the officer stopped him, read him his rights and administered the breathalyzer test to determine his blood-alcohol content.The results showed a reading of 0.0.The puzzled officer demanded to know how that could be.

The driver replied, "Tonight I'm the designated decoy."

Liam Spacey Stopped for speeding " I've stolen this car and killed the owner whose body is in the boot"... Garda calls for back up.. back up arrives " I believe you have a body in the boot sir?" " No Gard" as I open the empty boot.. "Did you steal this car sir? ".. " No guard it's my car" handing him the documents.... " My colleague said that you had stolen this car and had a body in the boot ?" .. " Not at all Garda as you can see...sure he probably told you that I was speeding as well!!!"

Brian Ambrose Garda stops me for speeding, looks in the window with a wry smile and says " I've been waiting here all day for you" , I reply "Well I got here as fast as I could!"

Glen Carroll Just got a new windscreen guard! I forgot to take me tax and insurance of the old one!!!

We had our fans show their expert knowledge today with our Free Friday competition. We wanted our fans to guess each 7 rear lamps that were posted and as per usual there were several people that got them all right!

We went through the answers and took out the people that made any mistakes and randomly selected from the remaining people.

We asked our Facebook Fans what they would do before the world was meant to end.

Free Friday: 30th November

We had the coldest week yet this week and it doesn't look like it is going away anytime soon. On offer this week is a fleece lined Regatta jacket for our lucky winner.

Considering the quality of the prize this week we made our fans work a little bit harder than usual. They were given 6 snippets of headlights from which they had to figure out what car they were from.
